How to Win Against the RIAA in Court

This techdirt article suggests that the RIAA “will drop cases if you point out that an IP address isn’t a person,” and links to actual cases where the defendants won using this strategy. The logic behind this is that an IP address only points to who paid for the internet access, and not to who used it.

Yahoo China Sued Under Brand New Copyright Law

The International Federation for the Phonographic Industry says that around 90% of all music sold in China is pirated and Yahoo! China includes links to unaffiliated sites selling pirated music.
