Linux on the PSP, a Reality at Last

Over the years Linux has proven its flexibility. We’ve seen Linux variants running on PCs, Servers, Gaming Consoles, Supercomputers, Toasters, Mobile Phones, Routers, and just about everything imaginable. But, oddly enough, one of the most popular hacking platforms out there - the PSP - has yet to see Linux ported to it.. until now.

Upgrade from Windows XP to Vista

lot of bloggers heartily recommend starting with a clean installation of Windows Vista or even purchasing (or building) a new computer to experience the full might of the operating system. That’s great, in many scenarios, but in some cases you might want to upgrade your existing Windows XP or Windows 2000 installation.

New Webmaster Blog

Hey, I was surfing around today and found this new webmaster blog. Since I had some extra time, I figured I would give it a look. Little did I know, I found a great source of information. This blog has various interesting stories, ranging from Digging for Money to Pagerank Updating. This blog really did interest me since I am a webmaster myself. I have been keeping an eye for everything I can do to improve my websites. This blog is a great tool for any webmaster. It’s always smart to check back and see if you can learn anything new! Napster Buys AOL Music: What Is This Company Doing?

Napster announced the acquisition of AOL Music’s subscription service. They’ll add 350,000 new subscribers, get promotion on AOL, and pay just $15 million in cash. It’s not a bad deal, except it adds more unprofitable customers to the struggling company, and the company’s war chest just got significantly lighter.

Apple ‘Scolds’ Employees for Visiting Too Many Apple Rumor Web sites

Apple has both a rabid fan base interested in its future product plans and a legendary obsession with secrecy. Former Apple employees say the company plants fake product names within work groups to track the source of media leaks. It monitors workers’ Internet surfing habits and scolds them if they’re visiting too many Apple rumor Web sites.

Illegal to use online “nickname” in South Korea

The internet real-name system, designed to prevent cyber crimes such as libel and privacy infringement, will be applied to Web portals and websites of public organizations with over 100,000 visitors per day. The system will require Web users to identify themselves with their real names when posting entries and commenting on others’ articles.
