Illegal to use online “nickname” in South Korea

The internet real-name system, designed to prevent cyber crimes such as libel and privacy infringement, will be applied to Web portals and websites of public organizations with over 100,000 visitors per day. The system will require Web users to identify themselves with their real names when posting entries and commenting on others’ articles.

I was looking around and found the perfect solution for any large sized office. I found Clear Cube, which allows you to condense your employees PC into a blade and run it from another secure location. They also refer to it as Thin Client and it truly is the perfect solution.

Google Ads: Coming to a billboard near you

In a patent filing Google, has revealed that it is looking into entering the physical advertising industry. The patent filing itself alludes to placing adverts on billboards, with the primary innovation being that they’re interactive and connected to the internet.

CBS and GOOGLE Close to a deal on YouTube!

CBS and Google are in “serious talks” aimed at making the content of CBS television shows available on Google-acquired YouTube, where it could be sponsored by local advertisers, Advertising Age reported Thursday. Finally, free legal TV shows maybe in the future!

Cisco claims Apple created phony company to sidestep iPhone trademark

Apple went so far as to create a phoney company - called Ocean Telecom Services LLC - to get around Cisco’s trademark, Cisco alleges. The company listed its attorney as James Johnson. His contact information was an e-mail address from Google’s free web-based Gmail service. Apple is using to comment about Ocean Telecom.

WireFly : Top 10 Phones of 2006

Wirefly announces the top 10 cell phones of 2006. It seems that Motorola Razr has been selected various times, across different service providers. For those of you that don’t know, WireFly is a service that sells wireless services and phones through the Internet. The consumer can choose which plan and phone they want, without ever visiting a store or talking to a representative over the phone. Some other winners of the top 10 were: Motorola v360, Motorola v276, Motorola i850, Motorola i710, and the Motorola v220. Motorola won a majority of the top 10. WireFly is expected to do even better in 2007.

Google releases MacFUSE !

FUSE makes it possible to implement a very functional file system in a normal program rather than requiring a complex addition to the operating system, An often-cited example of such a useful file system is sshfs, which until now was not available on Mac OS X….
